Halfway Reflection

1.     I think the biggest trait that I have used so far has been creativity. Pretty much every assignment you must either come up with a new product or interview people to find out how your product can be improved. A close 2^nd is time management. It is pretty much up to you to keep yourself on track with the assignments.

2.     When I thought about giving up I pushed through because I knew I would be very disappointed with myself if, at the end of the semester, I didn’t get an A because I slacked off. Though I may have something more fun to do, in the long run, it is important to earn the best grade that I can so that I can boost my GPA. This class has been great for further developing my self-discipline.

3.     The first tip that I would give would be to keep your eye on the prize. Missing one assignment may not seem like a big deal but it is. You have to be disciplined with yourself and not make excuses. The next tip is to be as creative as possible. No idea is a dumb idea and the more creative it is, the better. You should open your mind and try to notice problems around you. Is an area backed up with traffic? Does a service require too many steps? Possible projects are all around you, you just have to open your eyes and notice them. The last tip would be to meet and foster positive relationships with as many people as possible. Many assignments require you to interview people so fining the ones with industry experience would be very beneficial.
