I read the book: Steve Jobs
1)
a.
I was surprised the most when I read that Steve
Jobs did not like the idea of apps
b.
I admire his vision. Steve Jobs vision was
something that would come to revolutionize the world
c.
I think that the thing I least admire is his
ethical standpoint on not originally claiming his first child
d.
Yes. He was fired from Apple which was publicly
humiliating but he was committed and eventually re-hired by apple
2)
I have heard this before but it was also
mentioned in the book, Steve Jobs was very detail oriented. Even the smallest
thing held significant significance to him
3)
I was consumed when I read about how such a
smart man believed that, by being vegan, he did not have to shower
4)
a.
Do you think that eventually technology will
outpace humanity? The reason I ask is because we already have a robot that was
given citizenship in Saudi Arabia
b.
Do you think that Apple firing you provided you
with the drive to make Apple the company that it is today? I ask because I am
curious to know how that event effected you
5)
I think that he thought hard work was essential
to success. He practiced it, he paid attention to almost every detail of almost
every aspect of his company. Yes, I do agree with his perspective on hard work
Cody,
ReplyDeleteYou reference how detail oriented Steve Jobs. This reminds me of a saying I use to hear all the time from my dad growing up. He used to tell me, "Do everything, the way you do anything." In other words, every little task matters. It shows your character and that is what is important at the end of the day. Steve Jobs clearly had this mindset and you clearly understand that well. I hope we both can achieve great levels of success one day by adopting the same mindset in our own lives.
Cody,
ReplyDeleteGood job on this reading reflection this week! I also chose this book for my first reading reflection assignment. I agree with you that Steve Jobs has the different and unique vision. I also like your two questions for Jobs, it seems interesting for me, and I want to know the answer from him even that is just an expectation. Great work overall!
